Cast Application - Creatures of the Night

EXPLANATION:

Creatures of the Night is here for one reason and one reason only, and that is to put on an enjoyable show for our audience. Without them we're just a bunch of lunatics in lingerie having a very awkward performance in an empty theater. Being in a Rocky cast is a ton of work, but it's also ridiculously awesome most of the time. The thing that's so easy to forget is that you can't get to the awesome part without the work part.

INFORMATION:

We've tried to keep the following series of questions short, but they contain information that helps us figure out who you are and where you want to be on cast.

  • Name:
  • DOB:
  • City:
  • Phone:
  • E-Mail:
  • Myspace/Facebook/Other:
  • Why do you want to join a Rocky cast?
  • What positions are you interested in?
  • Have you been in any other Rocky casts?
    • When and where?
    • Why did you leave?
    • Please give a couple of references from your former cast(s).
  • If not, have you seen Rocky somewhere other than Claremont?
    • What did you think?
  • Other than Rocky, do you have any other stage-type experience?
  • Do you have any disabilities that would prevent you from participating in any aspect of the show?
  • Are you single?
  • Can you handle drama?
  • On a scale of 1-10 (ten being a lot) how much drama do you create in your friends' lives? Explain.
  • Do you have a criminal record? If so, explain.
  • Are you okay with people seeing you semi to completely naked?
  • Are you comfortable in heels?
  • Is there anything you won't do for cast?
  • Any particular talents you'd like to point out? (Photography, carpentry, web design, graphic design, music and/or video editing, lighting experience, anything like that...)

  • EXPECTATIONS:
  • You have to be 18 to be a member of Creatures of the Night. And yes, we might check your ID.
  • Do not create drama. No one wants to wade through a sea of problems every time we put on a show.
  • Seriously, about the drama.
  • Help promote the show, by flyering, advertising on any social networks you're on (Myspace, Facebook, Virb, etc), word of mouth, etc
  • Show up to the performance on time and willing to do your assigned job.
  • Protect cast as appropriate. If you see a problem at the show, alert your cast leader and work to fix it. Don't do anything at the Creatures show or anywhere else (including other Rocky cast performances) that will reflect badly on cast. Don't make cast look bad to our theater, etc
  • Always be a good citizen of the Rocky community, because no matter what the situation you're always representing your cast. Do not ever go to another show and proceed to act like a jackass, in other words.
  • Have the time of your life

Any questions?
